All the three sides of the resort is encircled by Ashtamudi backwaters and it is unbelievable to see, that one can experience sunrise and sunset from a single point in this resort. A panoramic view of a number of tiny islands blanketed by green vegetation is an unforgettable experience. As the name of the resort shows, it is full of coconut palms and surprisingly one can see palm trees being a part of the hut itself.

Don’t expect that Palm Lagoon is a luxurious, multistoried structure, but it is a typical eco-friendly resort with thatched spacious cottages on the lakeside , which is built purely with locally available materials.

Don’t expect that Palm Lagoon is having air -conditioned rooms with ultra modern amenities, but it is naturally air - conditioned by the cool breeze sprinkled by the palm leaves which makes you ’ cool and fresh ’ day and night. Don’t expect that Palm Lagoon is well equipped with a concrete built swimming pool, but a spacious backwater area has been converted into a ’natural pool’ for safe bath and swimming . The crystal clear water and white sand makes you completely fresh.

Don’t expect that Palm Lagoon’s catering wing will provide you only Continental & Chinese food, but apart from that it offers mainly Kerala style food. And the taste of the same reverberates for long even after the holidays are over.
