Arabian
Nights - A
sixteen day tour program covering the fascinating Gulf States. A combination
of the feudal Arab, Bedouin sheikdoms and modern metropolitan cities,
a fascinating glimpse of the traditional lifestyle as well as the contemporary
oil-producing Arabia.
Day
1:
Arrive Dubai Arrive at Dubai airport. Meet and assist
on arrival. After finishing Immigration & Customs transfer to hotel.
Day
2:
Dubai Morning Dubai city tour includes the Jumeirah
Mosque, Sheikh Saeed's House (the old palace), Heritage Village, Dubai
Museum, Bastakiya (Old Dubai), visit to camel race course, Little Manhattan.
Afternoon tour includes the Abra ride, Spice Market, Irani Market, Gold
Souq , Fish Market, etc. | |

Day
3:
Dubai Day excursion to Sharjah which includes visit
to the Natural History Museum, Discovery Centre, Aviation Museum, Cultural
Centre, etc. and proceed to visit Ajman Museum and Dhow building yard.
Afternoon tour includes Souq Al Majarrah, Souq Al Markhazi, Pearl Monument,
King Faizal Mosque, Bird & Animal Market, Souq Al Arsah, Al Hisn Fort,
Bait Al Naboodah, Islamic Museum & Art Museum.
Day
4:
Dubai / Kuwait Morning transfer to the airport for
the flight to Kuwait, the country that changed the modern day Middle East.
Meet and assist at Kuwait airport on arrival. In the evening we enjoy
the traditional meal.
Day
5:
Kuwait / Bahrain Morning tour of Kuwait, includes
Jahra Gate, Dhow Village, National Museum, Al Bader House, etc. Afternoon
transfer to the airport for flight to Bahrain. On arrival at Bahrain International
Airport, meet and assist provided. Transfer to hotel.
Day
6:
Bahrain Full day tour of Bahrain includes Bait Al
Quran, Al Fateh Mosque, Ola Palace, Guest Palace, Island of Muharraq where
the House of Sheikh Issa is, Old souq, traditional village, camel farm,
pottery makers at A’Ali Village.
Day
7:
Bahrain / Doha Morning transfer to the airport for
flight to Doha, capital of Qatar. The capital has a population of 350,000
inhabitants who are involved in the petroleum, fishing, financial and
trading businesses. Meet and assist on arrival. Transfer to the hotel.
Day
8:
Doha After breakfast departure for a full day desert
tour of Doha. The deserts of Oman offer the most traditional nomadic lifestyle.
We witness the oasis style of life, the mirages of the desertt, nomad,
animal preservation and a lot more.
Day
9:
Doha / Muscat A short flight to to Muscat. On arrival
at Seeb International Airport. Meet & assist and transfer to the hotel.
Afternoon departure to half day Muscat Discovery tour which includes Oman
Museum, Natural History Museum, Ministries area in Al Khuwair, Aalam Palace,
Corniche and fish market.
Day
10:
Muscat Morning departure to Nizwa, the ancient capital
of Oman. On the way we see the only natural break in the Hajar Mountain
at Sumail. In Nizwa visit includes Nizwa Fort & Souq. This is followed
by the visit to the Village of Bahla which is a UN Heritage sights. You
can see the traditional pottery still practised by few families. Next
stop is at Jabrin with a visit to Jabrin Fort built in 17th Century. On
the way back we visit the Oasis of Al Hamra as well.
Day
11:
Muscat / Al Ain Morning departure to Al Ain via
Rustaq, Al Hazm, Nakhl and Sohar. On the way we visit hot sulphur springs
at Rustaq, Al Hazm Fort which is considered to be one of the best architecture
in Oman, Nakhl Fort and Souq. Cross to the UAE and continue to Al Ain.
evening is free to enjoy this oasis town

12:
Al Ain / Abu Dhabi Morning departure for Al Ain
(garden city of UAE) city tour. The tour includes Al Aim Museum, Natural
History Museum, Hili Archaeological site, Al Jahla Fort, Buraimi Oasis,
Camel market, etc. Drive to Abu Dhabi, the oil stronghold of the UAE.
Day
13:
Abu Dhabi / Dubai Depart for Abu Dhabi city tour
which includes Iranian Market, Skyline of Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi corniche
and largest fountain, Petroleum Exhibition, Women’s Handicraft Centre,
Al Hisn Fort, etc. Before sunset we proceed to Dubai.
Day
14:
Dubai Full day tour to the East Coast which includes
visit to Fujairah, Khorfakkan, the fishing village of Dibba, Masafi, Friday
Market, Al Bitnah Mosque (the oldest mosque in UAE), Kalba Fort, the natural
springs in Masafi, etc.
Day
15:
Dubai Morning visit the rest of the Emirates - Umm
Al Quwain & Ras Al Khaimah. Visit includes Ras Al Khaimah Museum,
old city, fish market, dhow building yard, etc. On the way back visit
Al Khatt springs.
Day
16:
Depart Dubai After experiencing the lifestyle of
the rich and the poor of the Arabs and the many Sheikdoms, we bid farewell
as we take our departure flight from the majestic Dubai Airport.
