BACK WATER RIPPLES - KUMARAKOM |
|

The Eco-adventure Backwater Resort Nestled amid swaying palms and spread over 7 acres of meticulously landscaped exteriors, Backwater Ripples fronts the magnificence of the expansive Vembanad Lake stretching endlessly into the horizon and is truly a destination of its own. The architecture is traditional exuding an ambience of a bygone era. Intricately carved stone pillars painstakingly transplanted from ancient ‘illams’ or traditional homesteads support the tiled gabled roof structures.
These low-rise buildings are connected on either side to the central facilities of the hotel by cobbled walkways, which wind through the lush tropical gardens, well laid-out with plenty of open space in-between. Complimented with a swimming pool on the Lake’s edge, lounge chairs, deck seating and water sports facilities, Backwater Ripples offers 34 luxury independent air-conditioned cottages and executive rooms in a variety of styles to cater to a range of requirements/budgets.
